About This Activity
Description
Working in an art studio in addition to the exterior grounds at COCA, students learn the basics of observational and environmental sketching. They work in pencil, pen, ink, and brush to develop their drawing skills of natural elements outdoors. Then, they explore natural color, highlight, and shadow as they paint using acrylic and watercolor from observation.
