About This Activity
This enrichment class is a chance for students to combine art, creativity, and writing. Each week students will spend an hour working on engaging stories, poetry, letter, collage and art that tells a story of who they are. Activities will Include: -Creating engaging characters and stories -Writing and illustrating short stories -Poetry and silly poems -Dream Journaling -Letters to Future Self The goal is not perfect writing or perfect art, but for kids to have the freedom to explore, experiment, and make their journals their own. Some weeks might focus more on writing, while others will incorporate journal art. The final product will be a unique and engaging writing journal that they can come back to and reflect on for years to come! Included in the cost will be a journal and a variety of art supplies that will be used throughout the class.
