Generations Jazz Orchestra 2025–2026 Season Hosted by JAZZ Nation Welcome to the Generations Jazz Orchestra! JAZZ Nation’s premier youth jazz orchestra brings together top young jazz musicians from across San Antonio for a season of weekly rehearsals, performances at premier venues, and collaboration with professional artists. Members develop their skills, celebrate jazz tradition and innovation, and enjoy full participation in the Summer Jazz Institute. Tuition & Payment Schedule Participation in the Generations Jazz Orchestra is tuition-based and covers the full season, including rehearsals, performances, and automatic enrollment in the Summer Jazz Institute. Total Tuition: $450 for the season (A discounted rate — the Summer Jazz Institute alone normally costs $450.) Payment Schedule: Fall: $150 – Due November 1, 2025 Spring: $150 – Due January 3, 2026 Summer Institute: $150 – Due June 6, 2026 Tuition Includes: Weekly rehearsals with instruction from Karlos Elizondo and JAZZ Nation staff Concert performances (including appearances at Jazz, TX) Guest artist collaborations and masterclasses Recording opportunities Automatic entry into the Summer Jazz Institute Schedule & Commitment Rehearsals are held Sunday afternoons at MacArthur High School from 3:00–5:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. A detailed calendar will be provided at the first rehearsal. Consistent attendance is essential to your success and to the ensemble as a whole. We understand that other commitments may arise — please communicate any known conflicts in advance so we can make the most of our time together.
