About This Activity
Folklórico is an introductory class for students new to Folklórico. Dancers are taught the vocabulary and history of the dances as well basics of body awareness, alignment, and posture. Students are taught the fundamentals of stretching and dance technique along with basic Folklórico footwork and skirt work that serves as a foundation for advancement into other levels.
