About This Activity
Hosted by Beth Hawkins, St. Luke's Episcopal School Librarian Summer Reading Book Club will choose books off of 3rd and 4th grade's optional summer reading list, and each session, we will have discussions, fun activities, and snacks that go along with the books. The students who sign up will help me choose the book club books before the end of this school year. My 3rd and 4th grade students will also help design the library summer reading bulletin board for the fall! Students may sign up for both sessions for their grade level, as the weeks will be different. My mission as librarian is to ignite curiosity and grow lifelong readers. Helping students discover the joy of reading is my superpower!
