The Strength & Conditioning Camp is a three-week program designed to introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of fitness, athletic movement, and healthy training habits. Campers will build a strong foundation through age-appropriate, introductory-level workouts and utilize Drew School’s weight room. Training Days Note: On physical training days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), campers will attend mornings only, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Research shows it’s inadvisable for this age group to train for more than three hours per day. Beyond the weight room, campers will explore the broader world of athletics through field trips highlighting various sports-related careers. Students will meet professionals working in sports medicine, athletic training, performance coaching, broadcasting, sports operations, and more. Designed to be engaging, confidence-building, and accessible to all fitness levels, this camp will leave students with improved fundamental athletic skills, a better understanding of their bodies, and a positive experience with fitness and teamwork.
