About This Activity
Prior Knitting Experience Needed. Students should know how to do a simple knit stitch. Unwind after the school day with a cozy ball of yarn and some creative fun! In our knitting club, kids will learn the basics of knitting — casting on, knit stitch, and simple patterns — while making scarves, headbands, and other handmade treasures. All supplies provided — just bring your hands and your imagination! We will learn the purl stitch and begin increasing and decreasing. Ms. Jenne is currently the Elementary School Librarian.
