HeART with LINES Sumer Camp: 5 Days of Exploration Get ready to kick off the summer with joyful movement and fearless creativity at the HeART with LINES Summer Camp! This program, designed for youth in Grades 5 through Middle School, runs June 4th – 8th, 2026 from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the LINES Ballet Dance Center in San Francisco. We dedicate this time to helping students explore dance using our foundational HeART with LINES curriculum, rooted in our philosophy of humility, empathy, artistry, ritual, and truth. We encourage every young mover to embrace the philosophy of LINES Ballet Artistic Director and Co-Founder Alonzo King: that dance is a continuous journey where we must "never be afraid to fail hard and try something new for the first time." The camp is led by our amazing team of LINES Ballet Community Program Teaching Artists. Each day is structured as a progressive journey from foundational technique to creative expression. The morning begins with a 15-minute warm-up, followed by a 1 hour and 45-minute Core Technique session rooted in the LINES philosophy. The midday block focuses on artistic agency through a two-part Creative Project (1 hour 45 minutes total), followed by a 30-minute communal lunch to refuel. The afternoon concludes with 90 minutes of Repertory and Improvisation, ending with a 15-minute mindful debrief and dismissal at 3:00 PM. Secure your child's spot now for three days of inspired, risk-taking movement! No experience necessary, only a willingness to try.
