About This Activity
This delightful week is designed to captivate campers' senses as they delve into the world of Chinese cuisine, combining language learning with the joy of cooking and culinary discovery. Mornings will kick off with Mandarin language immersion sessions centered around theme-based culinary projects. Campers will dive into the heart of Chinese cuisine, learning the names of ingredients, cooking methods, and traditional recipes. Through hands-on cooking activities, they'll not only enhance their language skills but also develop a rich understanding of Chinese culinary arts. The math sessions will add an extra layer of engagement by incorporating mathematical concepts into the culinary experience, making learning both practical and enjoyable. In the afternoon students will join grade level rotations for arts/crafts, music, and sports/games, providing a diverse range of activities for campers to explore their creativity, enjoy music, and stay active. By the end of each day, our junior chefs will sit together and eat the delicious food they made together.
