About This Activity
Step into a world of natural beauty and Mandarin language immersion during our Garden Wonders Week at Mandarin Summer Camp! From June 24-28, campers will embark on a captivating journey where the wonders of nature become a playground for language learning and creative exploration. Mornings will be filled with Mandarin language immersion sessions that bring the garden to life. Campers will learn nature-inspired vocabulary, explore the names of flowers and plants, and engage in activities that connect them with the vibrant world of plants. From discussing the life cycle of plants to understanding the importance of biodiversity, every session will be a celebration of nature's marvels. Campers will make a flower arrangement, a terrarium, floral paper, soap and flower lantern. The students will journey out to the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park to explore a variety of plants and participate in an activity. In the afternoon students will join grade level rotations for arts/crafts, music, and sports/games, providing a diverse range of activities for campers to explore their creativity, enjoy music, and stay active.
