About This Activity
1st-5th grade students are invited to participate in an after-school Intro to Sketching Class on Fridays from 2:45-3:45 pm. (Note: one class is on Thursday, 9/24). Ever wonder how artists make drawings look 3D, realistic, and almost alive? In this fun, hands-on class, young artists will discover the secret shapes behind everything they see! Students will turn spheres, cones, cylinders, and cubes into animals, characters, objects, and imaginative worlds while learning the same foundational drawing skills used by Renaissance masters. Draw it. Build it. Turn it into anything! The cost to participate is $155. Free daycare will be provided from 1:45-2:45 pm on Art Class Fridays.
