About This Activity
Session 1 - Animal Tracks Have you ever seen the footprints and wondered what kind of animal made them? In this class we will explore animal tracks by learning to identify, measure and classify them. What can we learn about an animal by it’s footprint. Students will create their own animal tracks as part of the class and read and write about animal tracks with a focus on informational text. Session 2 - Creating with Sound Students will learn about sound and its properties and explore ways sound is used to create music. Through experimentation with online apps and acoustic instruments students will listen, observe, and create in an exciting and engaging setting.
