About This Activity
Session 1 - Film Shorts : Story Elements! Comprehension skills are necessary. Can building these skills be super fun as well? It can when we begin each class viewing a short film and then studying the elements that make these stories on screen so fantastic! We’ll learn about theme, inferences, plot, making predictions, conflict resolution, cause and effect, and more! Session 2 - Reading with Patricia Polacco Students will read a selection of books by Patricia Polacco and more thoroughly explore plot, character, setting, theme, and story summaries.
