Session 1 - Pickleball Is Here to Stay! Pickleball is still the fastest growing court game in America. It is a game combining tennis/ping-pong/badminton which can be played cross-generations together with youth, parents, and grandparents! Paddles and wiffle-type balls on a court with a low net are equipment (all provided!) used to play this game with varied abilities. Come learn the basic skills and rules of this game… then, “Play Ball!” Sooooo fun!!!! Session 2 - Fundamentals of Graphic Design This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of graphic design, equipping them with essential skills in visual communication, layout, and digital creativity. Students will explore key design principles such as typography, color theory, composition, and branding while using Canva to create their own projects. Each day will focus on a different aspect of design, from brainstorming and sketching ideas to digital execution and final presentation. Through hand-on activities and real-world applications, students will develop a foundational understanding of design and leave with a portfolio of creative work.
