About This Activity
Description This two-week course will guide students through the first fundamentals of Latin vocabulary and grammar through fun and engaging Latin language readings. In the first week of the course, students can expect mythology readings and other stories about the Romans to bring the language to life. In the second week of the course, we will explore reading selections from the 6th grade curriculum, which focus on the Roman town of Pompeii. The two-week course can serve as a primer for brand-new Bobcats joining as 7th or 8th graders without prior experience, or a Latin refresher for current Bobcats.
