Students will explore how data helps us understand the world using fun, age-appropriate datasets (sports, games, environment, etc.). They will learn the basics of collecting, organizing, and cleaning data, then create charts and visualizations to answer simple questions. Along the way, we’ll introduce key ideas like averages, trends, and comparisons. Students will work on a mini data project and present their findings at the end of camp using tools such as Google Sheets or a simple Python notebook (personal computers required).
