Lessons include first aid, CPR, survival skills, disaster preparedness, suture kits and more. For example, we will be planning activities for kids with Down Syndrome. Other volunteering events include serving nursing homes, veterans, and shelters. Through all these activities students will be able to log volunteer hours while also impacting their community. Over the course of the year, we will introduce valuable principles such as compassion, collaboration, independence, and voluntary service to our members. Members will be given leadership opportunities, allowing them to build confidence and teamwork skills.
