About This Activity
Advisor Name: Robert Huang Email: robertjh@gmail.com Prerequisite: 1+ years of programming experience, preferably familiarity with Python or machine learning. Kaggle Club offers students opportunities to practice machine learning skills and conduct real-world research in various applications of data science using the Kaggle platform. Students will participate in several project-based competitions hosted by Kaggle and may join collaborative groups with other enthusiastic students for their projects. Ample mentorship from experienced leaders will be provided, so those who want to do both fun & advanced research are highly encouraged to join, regardless of prior research experience! Students will present their findings at the BISV Research Conference and may choose to submit articles to “The Scope” BISV Science Research Journal and more.
