Advisor Name: Chuanhua Song Email: songchuanhua@gmail.com Description: The Maker’s Club provides an open space for engineers of all skill levels to get started/continue honing their engineering abilities through builds using cardboard. Students will begin their engineering journey by building out of flexible and easy to use materials. They will learn to use tools that they have likely not used before, such as X-Acto knives. Over the club, if appropriate, students will also learn to build with harder but more robust materials, such as wood and screws. Club sessions will have little lecture time and lots of building time, as engineering is a subject not learned through teaching but through doing. The goal of this club is to provide an opportunity for students to dive into the infinite realm of engineering, sparking a lifelong passion of innovation
