ROBOTICS CLUB Statement of Commitments Required! Students entering Grade 6, and students with no experience with Robotics, should contact the coaches to schedule mandatory assessments. Registration link will be provided once assessment and statement of commitments are completed. Activity Organizer: Mr. Adams and Dr. Noble Email: kevyn.adams@basisindependent.com Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays Time: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM Grades: 6–12 Cost: Description: We seek skills in; art, graphic design, CAD, crafting, public speaking, community outreach, playing video games & journaling. Each season, team members practice creative and artistic approaches to their technical communication of design and coding processes and driving results. The Robotics Club builds a culture of teamwork and empowers young leaders in a multidimensional learning environment. If you are new to the robotics world, this is a great opportunity to become familiar with leading robotics organizations. Mastery of robotics takes many years. Competitive robotics requires a large dedication of time and teams are encouraged to have weekend meetings. Robotics helps launch and land rockets; dig and fly on mars; manufacture cars and computers; and automate food production for billions.
