SOUTH ASIAN ASSOCIATION CLUB (SAAC) Activity Organizer: Ms. Chadha Email: chandni.chadha@basisindependent.com Dates: 1st and 3rd Friday of each month Time: 4:00 PM–5:00 PM Grades: 6–12 Description: The club will bring together students who share the same love for making stylized artwork. In each meeting, we will discuss different styles of illustration and learn from the giants of the art world (ie Mai Yonemaya, Guweiz, Ilya Kuvshinov); at the same time, we will provide space for artists to enhance their own skills and develop their own unique styles. Important techniques for creating composition, organic poses, interesting lighting, and visually appealing characters will be taught. [Requirements: art-making tools whether digital or traditional, rudimentary understanding of the human anatomy]
