About This Activity
** This is a CAMP ONLY and does not include the full day of care. Students must be dropped off right before the camp and picked up right after. If you would like your child to attend for the full day, please go back and select the month or week of care you would like and then add the camp as an add-on. This week, you'll explore key events like Informative Speaking, Impromptu, and Humorous Interpretation, while learning the basics of Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Extemp Debate. You’ll develop strong speaking skills, learn how to craft compelling arguments, and practice critical thinking in formats like Congressional Debate and Declamation. By the end of the week, you'll be ready to apply these skills in competitions, building confidence in both speech and debate.
