About This Activity
In PokéMath, young trainers build math skills through the fun of Pokémon! Students will practice counting, addition, subtraction, and comparing numbers while tracking energy, calculating battle damage, and graphing Pokémon types. Each session includes hands-on challenges like designing custom Pokémon cards using number lines and tally marks to set health and attack power. By building balanced decks and playing friendly matches (Pokémon My 1st Battle rules), campers strengthen problem-solving, logic, and confidence—all while having fun with their favorite game! *please refrain from bringing any Pokemon cards from home; custom Pokemon card templates will be used for this program so the students can do the math activities in camp
