Kick off Summer with the City of SLO Ranger Service in a week-long wilderness environmental camp. The Rangers will introduce the campers to basic wilderness adventure skills through play and instruction to optimize kids time spent outdoors. Rangers, along with special guest speakers from the community, will teach about coexisting in ecosystems with our four legged and winged neighbors. Campers will come away with summer camp stories to share, a newfound appreciation for the place we live and a City of San Luis Obispo Junior Ranger Certification and Badge.
Drop-off and pick-up location will be the outdoor Gazebo area located at the end of Laguna Lake Park Monday-Friday. Parents/Guardians MUST sign campers both in and out of Camp daily. Campers must bring a lunch to Camp daily.
