Let’s make it move! We will explore simple and not-so-simple machines. The first week, we will create unique kinetic sculptures; harness hydraulic forces to make mechanical claws; and experience the intricate movements of cams, cranks, and gears as we design and build mechanical paper models that move. The second week, you will use the power of potential energy and the iterative design process to brainstorm, design, collaborate, and create your own Rube Goldberg contraption.Activity Category
