Campers will learn essential fishing skills and techniques in a small group setting with a strong emphasis on safety, proper equipment handling, and responsible angling. Instruction includes assembling fishing lines appropriate for different environments, safe rod and hook use, and techniques to improve overall fishing confidence. Campers are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear; however, loaner rods will be available for use so all participants can take part. The majority of camp time will be spent actively fishing and practicing skills under close supervision in a small group environment. Please note that while instruction and opportunities to fish are provided, catching fish is not guaranteed.
Age groups vary based on enrollment, leading to a mix of ages and skill levels, creating a dynamic learning experience. Your child could be among the youngest or oldest participants. Be sure to review the age ranges carefully before registering for camps.Location
