Basketball 101 Grades:4-7 Period 2: 10:20-11:45 Instructor: Jean Pierre (Coach JP) The Summer Basketball Program is a fun, high-energy class designed for students in grades 4–7 who want to improve their basketball skills while building confidence and teamwork. Students will work on fundamentals like dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and game strategy through engaging drills, small-group activities, and friendly games. The focus is on learning, effort, and having fun—no matter your child’s experience level. For parents, this program offers a safe, structured environment led by current HMS basketball staff, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, skill development, and positive habits that carry over both on and off the court. Whether your child is new to basketball or already loves the game, this class is a great way to stay active, make friends, and grow as a player this summer.
