About This Activity
Colorguard Summer Session Grades 8-12 The Colorguard Summer Session is the recommended prerequisite for the SMHS 2024-2025 Fall and Winter Colorguard and is part of the Fall 2024 Titan Marching Band & Colorguard. Extra practice will be at the discretion of Colorguard student leadership. Instruction will be taught by professional movement technicians. Course credit is not applicable. BAND CAMP (July 29-August 2 and August 5-August 9, from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.) is separate from this course and is a mandatory requirement along with zero period Marching Band class (Fall Semester). If you do not participate in the Marching Band Fundamentals summer course, band camp is still mandatory. Dates/Times June 10 – July 11, Mondays and Thursdays 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. June 16, Saturday 1:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m. July 4, 2024 Parade Performance time TBD July 6, Saturday 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Location: SMHS Music Room Fee: $200 (plus $25 materials fee and $25 registration fee)
