About This Activity
Passion Project Learning Grades:6-7 Period 2: 10:20-11:45 Instructor: Stephanie Moffat Students will apply their natural curiosity and exercise creativity in this middle school STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) course -- merging 6th and 7th grade English language arts and computer skills to create "passion projects". From writing, illustrating, and publishing their own story books to designing and modifying digital computer games to researching how to become a "Future Job" and making an infographic based on that research, the choices are endless! All students will learn the fundamentals of effective story writing, reliable online research, and computer skills along with being provided the necessary tools and pathways to research and create. Each day their curiosity will be sparked through meaningful exposure to and fun discussion about a variety of subjects and skills. Let your passions soar in this fun and enriching course!
