Volleyball (Spring) Instructor: Angel Ramirez Coaches: Keri Fang, Eugene Shen Grades: 8-12 Spring Semester: June 29 - July 17, 2026 Days & Times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Location: SMHS Big Gym Weight Room : TBD An all-skill level course to help develop and/or maintain our athletes' volleyball skills through the summer/off-season. Areas of focus will include serving, passing, setting, and attacking at the fundamental and advanced levels. Here we will introduce certain strategies for both offense and defense to get us to an understanding of how live gameplay works. Throughout the course we’ll be able to incorporate mini games, scrimmages, and conditioning to get our athletes familiar with how the program works during the fall season. Our SMHS Volleyball summer course’s overall goal will be to help prepare those interested in trying out and playing in the upcoming fall 2026/2027 Girls Volleyball season. All grades 8 - 12 are welcome to participate in our Summer program. Requirements: athletic indoor shoes, volleyball attire, water Recommendations: knee pads, ankle braces, knee brace Fee: $200
