About This Activity

Dive into the science of water! In this hands-on session, students will explore the physical and chemical properties that make water so important for life on Earth. They’ll investigate buoyancy, density, pH, and the differences between saltwater and freshwater through experiments and activities. Students will also learn how water moves through the water cycle and local watersheds, test water quality like environmental scientists, and explore how ocean currents shape marine ecosystems. This session is all about discovering how water works, from tiny tests in the lab to big movements across the planet.
