About This Activity
Description
In this class, kids learn the PBG standardized list of movements which qualify them for belt testing and rank promotion in White Crane Silat. Students develop focus, courage, and determination as they integrate a growingly sophisticated repertoire of movement, including short movements, long forms, aerobatics and throws. Listening and willingness to focus are a prerequisite for this class. Optional belt tests happen for eligible students 1-2 times per year in the greater Bay Area. Concurrent enrollment in the Play Based Warm Up is recommended. Drop-ins welcome, $20.Cancellation policy: Cancellation fee: $10.00. All cancellations must be provided in writing and emailed to csd@marinwood.org. We will not process refunds over the phone. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the session/program begins.
