About This Activity
Join us at Marin Ballet as we explore our Beautiful Earth through dance, creative movement, arts/crafts, and stories. Your child must be 5 or 6 years old at time of registration. Each day your young dancer will discover our world in a new way through the following 5 themes: Undersea Exploration, Forest Adventure, Our Growing World, Jungle Safari and Soaring Above the Ground. Be sure to bring a friend to this fun filled, very active, weeklong summer camp. Extra details: This is a Drop- off camp. Campers will receive basic pre-ballet training and supervision from our excellent teaching staff as well as mentorship from current teenage Marin Ballet Students. All Campers need to bring their own snack, and lunch for ages 5–6 year-olds. You will find a daily schedule below. 9:00-10:00 Pre-Ballet 10:00-10:15 Snack Break 10:15-10:45 Theme Exploration and Games 10:50-11:20 Art and Crafts 11:20-11:40 Activity Center 11:45-12:00 Show and Tell Dance Party 12:00-1:00pm Lunch Break and outdoor games What to bring: • a lunch bag with food and snacks; No nuts at Marin Ballet • a water bottle: Marin Ballet has a water bottle filling station and drinking fountain. • Dress Code for Girls: Ballet leotard or T-shirt with shorts or leggings, ballet slippers or socks. Be sure to bring a T-shirt, shorts or leggings, and tennis shoes to wear after ballet. Dress Code for Boys: T-shirt, shorts, ballet slippers or ankle socks. Bring tennis shoes for activities after ballet. ATTENDANCE If a student needs to miss a class, parents must call or email the front desk prior to the start of class with a brief description as to why the student will be absent.
