Description
Playback Theater is a powerful and unique form of improvisational theater where real-life stories take center stage. In this course, you’ll tap into your natural creativity and empathy as you learn to bring personal stories—funny, sad, surprising, or deeply moving—to life in spontaneous theatrical vignettes.Participants will share true experiences from the past or present and explore how to transform them into meaningful, unscripted performances. You’ll develop your improv skills, deepen your listening, and build ensemble connection in a safe and supportive space. No prior theater experience needed—just a willingness to play, reflect, and discover the amazing performer within you.Cancellation policy: Cancellation fee: $10.00. All cancellations must be provided in writing and emailed to csd@marinwood.org. We will not process refunds over the phone. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the session/program begins.
