About This Activity
In First Lego League Explore, teams of students ages 6-10 (or 2-4 grade) focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential. Team members will meet weekly from Wednesday, June 10th to January 20th (with three holiday breaks). In January, our team will meet one more time to be determined as a team to prepare for festival. We will attend First Lego League Explore festival to present their work at ASU, which parents/siblings/family are encouraged to attend (on a Saturday - dates are not yet released). First Lego League gives elementary school students the opportunity to work and create together to solve a common problem. The really cool thing about FIRST LEGO League is...all skill levels are welcomed and needed, technical or non-technical. Adult coaches guide students as they gain skills and confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment.
