Where creativity meets the coast, our art-meets-nature camp invites young artists to dive into inspiration each day—literally and figuratively. Mornings are spent exploring the beach and water through snorkeling, seining, and beachcombing, gathering ideas straight from the natural world, while afternoons transform those discoveries into works of art through painting, pottery, mixed media, and more. Campers might paint the fish they swam beside or sculpt the swirling patterns of a shell they found, guided by Annie Clinton (Camp Coordinator) and Stevie Hyle (Seasonal Marine Science Educator), both very talented artists. Along the way, they’ll learn how art can be a powerful form of self-expression and a meaningful way to share messages of ocean protection and conservation. The week culminates in a special art show, where families are invited to celebrate the creativity, curiosity, and coastal-inspired masterpieces their campers have created.
