About This Activity
This community camp we’re learning about calico scallops! These fascinating bivalves can have more than 200 eyes - it would be quite unfair if you were caught in a staring contest with them. We’ll search the bay with our masks and snorkels to try and catch a glimpse of one jetting by, make art with their colorful shells, and of course play some exciting ocean games. So keep your eyes peeled and your water bottles filled because we are going to have some good salty fun. See you soon!
