About This Activity
Seine nets are long nets that glide through the water to gently scoop up sea creatures. Taking inspiration from the native Calusa, we’ll use seine nets in different environments around Sanibel to see what we can find. Whether we glide them through seagrass or pull them over a sandbar, we’re sure to catch fish, crabs, comb jellies, and other exciting creatures — every net we pull up is different!
