Want more complex programming? Learn Java through this fun and innovative programming platform, aimed at middle schoolers and up, that teaches game design/creation and the principles of Java programming, as students create animations, build interactive narratives, or program games in 3D. With a rich gallery of 3D characters and scenery, including a full Sims ™ character builder, students create stories, movies, simple games, and even virtual pets. By animating objects and programming interactions between characters, students learn the relationship between programming statements and behavior of objects. Teaches logical and computational thinking skills and fundamental principles of programming. Designed by Carnegie Mellon University to provide access to early computer science education.
