From walls and arches to post-and-lintel building techniques, use hands-on manipulatives to inspect and duplicate design elements from around the globe. Replicate some of history’s most famous designs (from castles to the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Parthenon), then uncover how different societies made the stylistic, artful, and structural aspects of construction and architecture. Through hands-on challenges, blueprinting, and design experiments, campers investigate forces like gravity, balance, and stability while learning how engineers turn bold ideas into real-world structures.
