The club is a relaxed place for BISV students who are new to climbing to learn the sport in a safe and supportive environment. The club is also the perfect place for experienced climbers to meet and enjoy climbing with other BISV climbers. Students of all skill levels are welcome. In conjunction with the club fee, students will be responsible for the purchase of their membership to Movement Climbing Gym, 801 Martin Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050. The club will feature climbing competitions throughout the year and there will be additional opportunities to participate in excursions to other indoor and outdoor climbing destinations. Although not required to participate, climbing shoes are a must for anyone wishing to make progress in climbing. Buying at least an entry-level pair of climbing shoes is strongly encouraged for any new climbers. Participants need to arrange their own transportation from school to the club location and need to be picked up from the club location at the end of the club.
