About This Activity
Discover the amazing animals that call our coastline home. In Coastal Creatures, we’ll explore how sea stars cling to rocks, crabs protect themselves with hard shells, seabirds use specialized beaks to find food, and other coastal animals rely on unique body structures to survive. Through aquarium investigations, hands-on activities, and shoreline exploration, participants will observe these adaptations up close and learn how form helps function in the wild. Throughout the week, we’ll combine science, creativity, and outdoor discovery to better understand the incredible survival strategies of coastal life.
