The Red Cross course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illness, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age, adults (12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).There are 2 options for this course. You can take the blended learning certification course for a fee of $75 and receive a certificate for First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross upon successful completion, or you can take this as an information course for $40 (but you will not receive a certificate).This course will be offered in a blended learning format. Therefore, each student must have an email address and computer access to successfully complete the course.
