About This Activity
Description
Teens will love this free hands-on cooking class in which they will prepare delicious recipes and learn about kitchen safety, nutrition, and menu planning. Teens will get to taste their creations at the end of each class session. Teens 15-18 years old who enroll and complete the program will have the opportunity to add value to their resumes by taking an optional online course to get an accredited California Food Handler Certificate required for food service industry jobs. Classes are taught by CalFresh Healthy Living, UC staff.
