Teens will love this free hands-on cooking class in which they will prepare delicious recipes and learn about kitchen safety, nutrition, and menu planning. Teens will get to taste their creations at the end of each class session. Teens 15-18 years old who enroll and complete the program will have the opportunity to add value to their resumes by taking an optional online course to get an accredited California Food Handler Certificate required for food service industry jobs. The class is offered in partnership with the McClelland Street Market and PLAY, Inc. This is a two-part program. Teens must attend both sessions on April 17th and 24th.This is a two-part program.
