Explore the wonders of the underwater world at Coastal Camp! All of our campers will become marine biologists, exploring the shallows of tide pools all the way to the deepest depths. Get ready to learn all about special adaptations needed to survive the ocean, spend time visiting the critters in the intertidal lab, and explore the rainbow sand of Rodeo Beach! Through games, crafts & activities, and plenty of supervised free exploration, campers will have the chance to learn about the creatures that live in the ocean and what they can do to help protect them. Our large collection of bones and bio facts are sure to spark the interest of any camper - we’ll even check out an 82ft blue whale skeleton! On Thursday of Ocean Connections weeks, we will have special guests from the Marine Science Institute who will bring living creatures for our K - 2nd grade campers to meet — including a live baby leopard shark!
