All official tests are administered in Scarborough by appointment. ----> What is HiSET? High School Equivalency Test is an alternative to a U.S. high school diploma for individuals who are at least 17 years of age, Maine residents, and no longer enrolled in high school. Candidates demonstrate they have the same skills and knowledge as a high school graduate by successfully completing competency based testing in Language Arts - Reading; Social Studies; Science; Mathematics; and Language Arts-Writing. Individuals 17 years of age and older are welcome to join us to finish that credential and move forward with that wish list! It’s FREE and confidential. ----> HiSET Preparation Lab This class helps you to prepare to take each of the five HiSET tests with extra emphasis placed on math and writing instruction. Students work at their own pace and official HiSET testing is available on a weekly basis when you have successfully completed study and a practice test.
