Hip-Hop is a high intensity dance form that is often paired with the latest hip-hop music. Having evolved from “street dancing”, hip-hop has an edgy component which is taught through isolations of the body in addition to alternating between smooth and quick, sharp movements. This class will increase flexibility and coordination by challenging the pace at which the dancer’s body can move. This class helps express personality through movement that allows for a little attitude.
Acrobatics uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, students perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty. It teaches flexibility, balance, strength and coordination. Students work on stationary and traveling steps as well.Age Category
