Description
The dragon is back in town! Well… not really. That’s the story a ragtag band of innkeepers makes up, desperate to draw questing heroes to the struggling Dancing Dragon Inn. Soon the inn is full of unexpected guests, from an army of princesses out to prove their bravery, to a group of overwhelmed heroes trying to hold onto their fame. But what happens if they all discover the innkeepers’ dragon story is made up? Could there be more than one way to save the day? An epic folk-rock score brings magic to this funny, heartfelt fantasy musical.Advance preparation is NOT required for this audition! Please fill out your audition form at https://form.jotform.com/243106883872160 and arrive between 5:00-8:00 p.m. Participants will audition in groups on a first-come first-called basis and will be dismissed after their group has finished. Callbacks will be Wednesday 2/18 by invitation.This audition is open to ages 8-17. There is a casting fee of $199 per participant if cast in the show. Rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm-8pmTech week is every day 4/10-4/16. We will likely rehearse during the daytime as well as evenings on Saturday and/or Sunday.Performances are Fri. 4/17 at 6:30pm and Sat. 4/18 at 1pm with strike to follow.*Participants must be able to attend all tech rehearsals and performances*
