About This Activity
Pre-Algebra BASIS Curriculum students must be either rising or incoming grade 6 to be eligible to take this course (this requirement does not apply to non-BASIS Curriculum students). This course will be offered in an online format. Description Pre-algebra includes topics from geometry, discrete mathematics, and probability and statistics. At the end of the course, students are well-versed in areas of: fractions, decimals, mixed numbers, positive and negative numbers, order of operations, percentages, proportions, ratios, divisibility, rounding, place value, unit conversions, scientific notation, and data representation, algebraic representation, and solving real-world problems.
